Want to partner with MEO?

In addition to our regular programming, MEO works with youth-serving community partners whose missions and values align with our own to provide customized experiences for their youth.

PLEASE NOTE: Our programming schedule is full through the end of August 2023, and we cannot fulfill new requests for partnerships or lodge rentals at this time. Please check back with us in the fall! Starting in September, we’ll re-open for community partnership requests (and we’ll have a new set of offerings and transparent pricing policies available!)

Urban Hike

Duration: 2 - 3 hours | Group Size: 5 - 20 youth

Location: Providence, Pawtucket, Woonsocket, or Central Falls

Get to know the city you call home! We’ll go for a walk together through the city and learn through guided activities and discussion about the Black & Indigenous histories of the sites we move through—and how environmental racism has shaped the landscapes we experience every day.

Day at the Lodge

Duration: 2 - 5 hours | Group Size: 5 - 12 youth

Location: the MEO Lodge at the King/Benson Preserve in Saunderstown, RI

Take a trip to South County to experience the woods and water around the MEO Lodge. Possible activities include hiking, plant identification, art-making, kayaking in the Narrow River, team-building exercises, and guided mindfulness practices.

Overnight at the lodge

Duration: 24 hours | Group Size: 5 - 10 youth

Location: the MEO Lodge at the King/Benson Preserve in Saunderstown, RI

Enjoy everything a day at the lodge has to offer—plus an overnight camping experience! Cook dinner over an open fire and participate in a mindful night hike before winding down for the night, sleeping either indoors in bunk beds or outdoors in tents.

ground rules for our partnered programming:

  1. The curriculum for the day will be grounded in MEO’s Four Pillars. However, within these guiding pillars, we can work with partners to customize the program’s content and activities to meet their needs.

  2. MEO educators will facilitate the experience. Facilitators or educators from the partner organization are invited to join the program as participants.

  3. Partner organizations are expected to compensate MEO for providing programming. Rates are negotiated on a sliding scale—highly resourced and white-led organizations are expected to pay more.

These basic ground rules help us ensure that we continue to provide experiences that are true to MEO’s mission and vision. If your organization is interested in partnering with MEO, visit our Contact Us page, and we’ll arrange a time to speak!

Beginning in Fall 2023, the MEO Lodge will be available for overnight rental by youth-serving organizations. Stay tuned!
